My Story

Hello my name is MiKyle Deadshot Bowie. I am the owner and founder of Team SLYME. My story is one of redemption and perseverance. After spending ten years in and out of incarceration I came home to a world that wasn't necessarily ready to give me a second chance. I struggled to find employment as I tried to transform my life. Through the grace of God I was given an opportunity to box at Legacy Boxing and Fitness in West Jefferson, Ohio. Boxing saved my life ! After coaching and competing out of Legacy I have moved to the Thompson Rec Center where I am coached by Heavyweight World Champion Buster Douglas. I am certified in Coach Rick's Mittology a mitt work system based on Roger Mayweather's mitt work. The system uses perpetual motion flow to develop agility, dexterity, endurance, stamina, coordination, toning, muscle strength, weight loss and overall conditioning in fitness training.
